Submitting Your Novel
We’re committed to helping you submit the novel you worked on with us to literary agents at Curtis Brown and C&W. Whenever you’re ready – no matter how long after you finished your course – we want to hear from you.
To submit the novel you worked on during your course with us, please email Abby (abby.parsons@curtisbrown.co.uk) or Jack (jack.hadley@curtisbrown.co.uk) with your full manuscript, one-page synopsis, and pitch letter (addressed to your agent of choice) and they will pass your materials along. If you’re not sure who would be best for your novel, please ask us for our thoughts. We work closely with the agent teams and are happy to advise you.
We submit to one agent at a time and it can take several weeks to hear a response, especially at busy times of the year, for example around London Book Fair (usually in March/April) and Frankfurt Book Fair (October). If you receive any full manuscript requests or offers of representation from other agents during this time, please drop us a line so we can keep the agents in the loop.
